Do you get a tour guide when you travel? Or do you prefer to venture out on your own and do your own thing?

I'm a mixture of both. Depends where I am, what I'm going to see that day and if I want to know more in-depth details. A couple of years ago when we went to Venice we met Valentine with @Venice.Wanderlust, and she was amazing. She lives in Venice, she was born in Venice and she's proud of Venice. We could have spent hours listening to her at the San Marco Basilica, her knowledge and excitement were evident as she rattled off everything she had learned about the building over the years. If you ever head to Venice I cannot recommend @Venice.Wanderlust enough!

There are so many different aspects to Venice, you could spend days discovering every corner of the city. With such a long and rich history, Venice is one city you may enjoy having a guide to be able to learn so much more than a guidebook could give you.
