Hi! I’m Coco❣️
Welcome to my blog.
A while back I was having a conversation with a friend about our interests and hobbies. She runs a cosplay TikTok and absolutely loves it. I am always insanely jealous of people who have a niche: cosplay, Disney adults, pop funkos, make-up gurus, anything that really brings someone joy! I've never seemed to have something like that, or so I thought. When I was discussing this with my friend I remember her asking “ok but what do you really LOVE!?” to which I replied “travel and concerts how great is that in 2020?“, literally the worst year for those being the things that bring you joy!
Like everyone else, 2020 got me down. I was so lucky to have a job still when so many didn’t but man it felt more exhausting. 9 to 5 in the office where you can turn off your computer and leave is so different from “9 to fives “working from home, where everyone messages from 5 AM to 9 PM and you feel like you need to reply right away or else you’re not putting in enough effort.
After the conversation with my friend, I decided to start this blog and Instagram page to bring a little light back to my life, to remember some of the fun places I’ve travelled and the music I love.
Music and travel have always been a passion of mine. Since I was little I was always into music- I played piano (never went anywhere with that)and I sang. I love to sing, had stage fright but loved it. I always found myself covering songs I grew up with that my parents loved; Burton Cummings, Rod Stewart, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, Billy Joel -I absolutely loved how their music told a story.
Fun fact:
I was named after an Elton John song Chloe, (which most don't know about) and my middle name is part of an Elvis Costello song, do you have any guesses?
Anyways, I hope you come on this journey with me and maybe discover some new places to visit or new music to listen to!
